Dear NIRI Charlotte Chapter Members and Friends,
One month from today we will kick off our 2018-19 program year from the same location as last year - the Lexus Dugout Suite at BB&T Ballpark, as our Charlotte Knights host the Durham Bulls. You won't see Kevin Costner behind home plate, but you will see Kevin Powers in our suite, who did a marvelous job as our previous chapter president. I am thankful to have his continued involvement and support as an at-large member of our new board. Speaking of, introducing your new NIRI Charlotte Chapter Board:

There are two primary goals that will drive every decision we make for the chapter throughout the upcoming year.
- To advance the practice of investor relations.
- To provide you with professional development and networking opportunities.
Later this week, the new board will meet and begin planning for the 2018-19 program year. We will discuss creating a formal sponsorship program, developing a plan to drive attendance and membership, and begin discussions about our general events, including timing and topics.
